TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EARN POINTS

Accumulation of qualifying flights for Bamboo Club members is varied from the following conditions:

1	Members will earn points based on the actual flight and eligible booking class in accordance with Bamboo Club’s rules and regulation. If a change in flight time due to any reasons such as weather, technical issues or other irregular occurrences causes a member to miss his or her flight, the member will not earn any points related to that flight.
2	If a member is involuntarily transferred to another flight, his or her points will be calculated based on the transferred flight.
3	Members will not be eligible for earning points if their tickets have been void, expired, or issued under Bamboo Club or any promotional activities run by Bamboo Airways unless otherwise noted.
4	Points are calculated based on the member’s actual purchased booking class, not based on the upgraded booking class unless otherwise stated. Points are only calculated if Member’s name is similar to the name on identity card / passport / and boarding pass. If a member voluntarily upgrades his or her seat at least 03 hours in prior to domestic departure and 05 hours of departure for international departure by paying the price difference between the two booking classes, his or her points will be calculated based on the corresponding upgraded booking class.
5	Members upgrade for a fee within 03 hours of departure for domestic flights or 05 hours of departure for international flights: points will be credited to the original class of seat purchase. If a member upgrades his or her seat without incurring any additional costs, his or her points will still be calculated based on the original purchased booking class.
6	If a member was forced to downgrade his or her seat, he or she is entitled to compensation from Bamboo Airways in accordance with Bamboo Airways’ rules and regulations. However, his or her points will be calculated based on the actual booking class at the time of boarding.
7	A member cannot earn points for purchasing excess baggage or more seats for him or herself on any Bamboo Airways flights. Member will also not be able accrue additional points after paying for upgrade to Business class at the airport (at least 03 hours in prior to domestic departure and 05 hours of departure for international departure).
8	A member cannot earn points for unused or refunded tickets.
9	Bamboo Club members can only earn points if their tickets are of certain booking class. Each booking class corresponds to a specific number of points.

Members can earn qualifying points/flights on the following eligible flights:

Regular flights operated by Bamboo Airways (Flights with carrier code QH and operated by Bamboo Airways), except charter flights.
Qualifying point accrual formular per qualifying flight:

Qualifying points = [Distance (mileage) between departure and arrival airport] x [bonus factor based on booking class] x [another factor*]/10

Members can earn bonus points on the following eligible flights:

* Note: In the absence of any other notification from Bamboo Airways, the another factor is determined as 1.

Please note that award tickets, agency (AD), industry (ID) and special discount tickets, group ticket, Bamboo Economy Saver Max and infant tickets are not eligible for mileage accrual. The tickets which are not eligible for qualifying miles, are not counted as qualifying flights.
